the reasons for this blog

After starting to get to know the fitness industry in Australia thanks to my position as a Personal Trainer, I have realised that there is very little that people know about healthy lifestyle.

A lot of women love cardio, they are scared of lifting weights because they don’t want to get bulky, and many men think that doing a biceps-chest routine is the most important thing in the world (and of course, some triceps-back another day, maybe shoulders and… leg day? Probably once a week) Cardio is just to get the “cuts”.

I think my favourite is still “I am going to do a lot of abs because I want to lose the belly”. Good luck mate!

Then I have the guys that come to me with a picture or video of another guy on Instagram that has been training his whole life and they want to have his body and do muscle ups with 20 kg extra.

So these kind of behaviour got me thinking… What do people think about the fitness industry? The answer is: something that you do when you are in your 20s or 30s, maybe in your 40s or 50s after getting a divorce and of course they have to be fit again to meet new people and the PT is that angel fallen from the sky with a magic “method” that is going to make their dreams come true. And they want it ASAP.

This site is to give you another reason to exercise: health. Here, I am going to explain the reasons why we should exercise, the benefits, what to do if you don’t know where to start, and not only that! I would like to tell you some other important things you need to take care of to feel better, be healthier and get your fitness goals. Do you know the importance of the eating habits? What about the sleeping habits? Not to mention the personal care.
