Hello everybody! Welcome back to my blog.
It’s been one week into this lockdown, and the gyms are closed. Hopefully this is the last week of lockdown, but one week could be a long time without exercising. Today, I would like to share a little routine you can do at home with very few material.
You are going to need a large elastic band, a round elastic band and kettlebells. Choose your own weights! Remember that there are different grades of bands, ask the expert at the store if you don’t know about it. I got this material at Decathlon, a sports warehouse where I used to work. All together cost less than $50 and even when gyms are open again, it’s really good material to exercise at home. Let’s get started!
First, we need to warm up. For the warm up, we are going to use the large elastic band. Put the elastic band under your feet like Harry is doing, and do 10 biceps curl and 10 lateral raises. Then, do 10 squats and finish up with a 20” plank.
And now let’s go down to the routine. Do every exercise 3 times and rest 30” to 1′ (if you really need to) between sets.Lateral squat with round elastic band. 15 steps each side.
Lateral squat with round elastic band. 15 steps each side.
Donkey kicks with shoulder press. 15 reps with each leg.
Lunges with shoulder raise. 15 reps with each leg.
Biceps curl + biceps hammers. 15 reps each, 30 in total.
Triceps extensions. 15 reps.
Hold the large elastic band with your hands, open and close. 15 reps.
Push ups. If it’s too difficult, you can put the knees on the floor. 10 reps.
Rowing with elastic band. 15 reps.
Planks. Try to hold the position for at least 20”.

Finish off with some stretches and deep breaths.
Remember that doing weights is not the only exercise you can do. There are many other options, and we still can go for a nice fast walk in the park or enjoy other outdoor activities.
I really hope we can go back to normal at the end of next week. In the meantime, stay safe and look after yourselves.
See you next week!
